Here are some of the projects that I have been a part of in my career in the fashion industry. Each project was unique and required a different approach, but all of them were aimed at elevating the brand and maximizing profits.

Marks & Spencer - Kidswear Capsule Collection

Buying & Merchandising

Led Buying & Merchandising for Kidswear at Marks & Spencer. Strategically aligned product offerings with market trends, achieving a 20% increase in gross margins. Pioneered a sustainable supply chain for gender-neutral kidswear and nurtured strong supplier relationships. Dentsu X Gaurav Gupta

Design Innovation Strategy

As part of the Dentsu X Gaurav Gupta Innovation Project, I played a pivotal role in creating innovative strategies to launch a virtual showroom for India's luxury consumer market in tier 2 and 3 cities. This involved meticulous planning and justification of the virtual showroom strategy, marking a significant leap in the brand's market presence and accessibility in these regions.

Brooks Brothers

Design Management Principles

In the Brooks Brothers Revival Design Project,  an effort to revive this iconic fashion brand. The strategy involved introducing a gender-neutral collection and a modern soft menswear line, catering to the evolving preferences of contemporary consumers. Additionally, I proposed expanding into new markets, particularly the Middle East, by offering culturally specific product lines tailored to regional consumers. This project aimed to breathe new life into the brand in the ever-changing fashion landscape.

Leicester Garment Workers

Sustainable Design Thinking

The Leicester Garment Workers' Empowerment Project aimed to address the skill and education barriers confronted by the garment workers in Leicester. Through a comprehensive design thinking approach, we conceptualized and brought to life a community app that bridges the gap between skilled teachers and the workers. This innovative platform seeks to enhance their skill sets and language proficiency, ultimately empowering them to access higher-paying opportunities and improve quality of life.

Business Development: Mayima

Collaborative Challenge

I spearheaded Mayima's UK and Ireland expansion, surpassing growth targets and forging pivotal partnerships with local distributors and third-party sellers. This role included in-depth market research, data-driven strategies, and market-specific campaigns that heightened brand visibility by 30% and lifted online sell-through rates by 20%. Additionally, I negotiated advantageous terms with third-party sellers, driving notable profit margin increases and fostering key partnerships.

Graduate Collection

Amity University

This collection aims to capture the essence of growing urbanisation and development. It draws inspiration from shapes, structure, light and construction processes. A mix of delicate hues along with darker eathy tones that blend together in a perfect fusion of a semi formal womens wear collection. The collection displays a contrast of stunning finished architecture and work in progress structures. Designs in this Pre Fall 2021 collection expresses a sense of physical harmony by layering of palette and brush strokes to create a complete and harmonious composition.
